I scored big time this weekend at my first stop. My sons go to a private school and are required to wear uniforms. The first house I stopped at was the home of another student (I should say students because they are twin boys) that are a year older than and a size one of my boys.
They had piles and piles of pants, shirts and school gym shirts. I asked what they wanted for everything. They said they would take $6 for everything! I said that I would give them $10.
7 Gym shirts (they sale for $12)
3 Sweatshirts (they sale for $20)
17 Polos (they sale for $5 up)
5 Pants (they sale from $10.99 up)
10 Shorts (they sale from $10.99 up)
I also found 3 pairs of sandals and several shirts for myself. My older son was not able to go but my little guy found a bunch of dinos.
Overall it was an excellent day and I saved hundreds of dollars on the uniforms alone.
I love to shop and going to garage sales allows me to shop but still watch my pocket book!
